Mission: We are mental health professionals, psychiatrist, counselors, and psychologists, dedicated to providing brief, supportive care and crisis support to New Braunfels health care workers and other first responders in our community.
Hours of operation: 7-9 am and 7-9 pm from April 6- April 24, 2020
Click the link during the hours of operation, type your name, and you will be in the "waiting room." When it is your turn, a mental health professional will start the visit. Please make sure your camera and microphone are turned on.
All information will be kept confidential, and it is not necessary to reveal your name if you would prefer not to. Brief records will be kept with only the following information noted: type of first responder (doctor, nurse, technician, etc.), length of call, chief concern, and intervention. This information will be helpful for developing this service during Covid-19 or future disasters. Volunteers are mental health care professionals (MD, DO, LCSW, LPC, NP, PhD, PsyD, or PA) offering their expertise and aid under the Texas Good Samaritan Act.
